1. Introduction
Soil Instruments VW Instruments come supplied with three main cable types depending on the instruments. Whilst the instruments are supplied with a wiring colour flag these sometimes get removed before the instruments have been tested or wired in. Below is a brief guide on identifying these connections.
2. Armoured cable, 4 cores
This cable is typically used on E7s, P6s, P10s, S8s, W4s, & W10s.
3. Instrument Cable 4 core, 16/0.20, screened
This cable is typically used on P9s, T2s, T3s, & W9s.
4. Instrument Cable, 4 core, 7/0.20, screened
This cable is typically used on E10s, J1s, J2s, J3s, J4s, J6s, ST1s, ST2s, ST3s, ST4s, ST6s, W10s, W12s, & W16s.
5. Still Not Sure
